How can I control what type of ad my adsense ads display?
I just got adsense on my website and I cant find a way to choose ads that are relevant to my website. How can I?
Make sure your site is SEO'd properly. Your title tags, meta description and keywords should all be descriptive of the topic on the page. Also make sure you got your on page SEO right – your main keyword in your title and also several times on the page.
When you do this Google will be able to tell what your page is about and display more relevant ads on your page.

You can't – AdSense decides what's "relevant" for you. They're paying you to display the ads so they get to pick which ads get displayed. You have no say in the matter.

It tends to take from a couple hours up to start showing targeted ads. You will never have total control over what it shown.

Doesn't always work that great, but it's a shot. Just make sure that the content on your pages are very focused.
If it's competitors you are worried about showing, you can use the Competitive Ad Filter in the Setup section of your account. Enter any URLs that you don't want displaying ads on your site.

You cannot control which ads adsense shows on your website, since adsense targets its ads at the content of your website. You can however "guide" adsense to target its ads towards the keywords you use on your website. To do this, put your keywords in your url, title, and the first 5 lines of your content.
