Can someone recommend a REALLY good self-help/improvement book?

I’m feeling a little down about life right now. I will graduate from college next month with a BA in criminology only to find out all agencies ( by agencies I mean FDLE, DCF, DOC etc,) in my state (Fla) are laying people off because of lack of funding. Teachers are getting laid off, its just horrible. yet the state seems to have enough money to advertise the different lottery games they want people to spend their last dollar playing (figures). It turns out i will have to continue to work at my part time low paying convenience store job until the agencies begin hiring again. Anyhow, I’m looking for a good self-help/improvement book with tips on how to deal with hard times in life, not worrying, etc. Thanks in advance.

I would recommend a truly good self-development book that I KNOW has worked for many people…

Unfortunately, I can’t tell you about it, because I wrote it and to try to sell it on this site would mean I’d get kicked off for going against the community guidelines (which I agree with, by the way).

LOTTERY FIX IT IS FOR ME !?

I HAVE TRY ED IT OUT I HAVE PLAYED THE SAME NUMBER FOR THE FANTSY 5 FOR FORTY YEARS IT NEVER CAME OUT ever time i play its one number or two number the same ther rest are one number off like if i play 8 16 20 34 38 the number would come out 8 16 21 35 37 given me just a free ticket .so in march i start to test the lootery (lottery)i started playing the cash3 just 3 number you pic .i got the same results,from march to aprl 13 i have fortytwo ticket i played where the fla lootery scam showed it face to me. every ticket i played one number was off ether 1 number lower or higher ,like apr 8 i played 645 .634 the 6 is the same the 4 is lower to 3 the 5 is lower to 4 came out apri 9 played the same number 645 .655 came out .didnt play10-12 to see if the number i would have played would show it didnt on apr13 i played 338. 228 came out?that eveing i played 331.342 i even tryed the play 4 that day i played these numbers 7963,3579 the number that came out 3569 like the number was pick around my number by one digit up or down ? like it though computer to select the least pic comb? this happen 40 time in a month .ya! mabe it just me they just dont wont to win or other have seen this. but if your runing con or scam the public you have to be two faced and you dont wont them to know what going on behind the curten you keep there mind on some thing esle? a few big winner or event around of the would.it was sayed the best trick satan ever played on man kind making them think he dosnt exist.it part of the new would order.

The trick you request is that lottery is not for you. The best example is that you gave. You buy some numbers and they draw another set close to yours. And it is not a good idea to play always the same numbers.

Redeem Lottery scratch- off ticket, 25% deducted- why ?

A friend of mine and his girlfriend went to cash his $1000 scratch off ticket.He wanted her to cash it in her name because he was sure he had a court judgement,or I.r.s so she goes in the back of Fla lottery claims office, comes back with $750 cash.Saying they must have taken out taxes.I say she or her Ex- husband owed money somewhere.He just thinks she swindled him outright.Why did they, if they did-take out twenty five percent. This was 6-8 years ago

The lottery commission are required to with-hold 25% of prizes over a certain amount for federal taxes. This is similar to the with-holding that you have on your paycheck with the exception that the with-holding on your paycheck is usually calculated such that you would get a refund. The 25% with held from the lottery prize is likely to be less than your marginal tax bracket so you usually end up owing more taxes on top of that 25%.

I’m a bit surprise that they with-held 25% from a small $1,000 prize. They certainly didn’t do that with mine. It’s my understanding that they only with-hold from prizes over $6,000. As to whether or not she swindled him, she probably thought she was but the fact is she has to pay income taxes on that $1,000 prize, whether or not they with held the 25%, and it will likely be more than the 25% that she would have to pay, had they not with held 25%, she should’ve with held some just for the taxes that she would have to pay. Regardless, it’s a simple matter to check, just look at the W2-G that was attached to the check, the amount with-held will be on that form.

oh i’d buy me a house by the water with maybe 10 acres attached and mountains surrounding me.. wow with that millions i could really live on easy street : )
