Open Question: I have a domain name already and have paid in advance for 2 years?

Ok, I was going to start a site but due to family illness had to put it on hold. I have an adsense account with google and notice on there that you can put it on a parked domain. My question is do I just link the domain name to my adsense account or do I have to actually find a host or something? thanks
