   to improve your earning, you can either increase the traffics or optimize your ads placements.

   CTR 1.66 is about average.

   I have a game blog with 100 visitor per day and the CTR is around 8~14%. The ads placement is important, and ads in between post is one of the good place. However, you need to monitor on your content to make your visitor/reader feel interesting to click on the ads.

   Besides, the content and the placement, size/front/colour might affect the CTR also.

   Hi there,

   To improve your earnings, you need to increase your CTR. While a CTR of 1.66 may be considered good for a very large site, for a site with 1000 impresions, there is still scope for improvement.

   There are a lot of methods to increase your CTR which includes
   Using the right ad formats
   Using the right colours for ads
   Properly placing your ads for higher visibility
   Getting highly relevant ads on your pages
   And finally experimenting on your sites, ‘cos what works on a site may not necessarily work on another.
